Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has grown to an intermediate level in the past 24 hours. The largest event was a C6.1 flare at 02:43 UT today from the target region NOAA 14274. This region also produced six low-C flares, with a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group. Today, the Major Flare Watch will continue as 14274 for a further day, due to its high magnetic complexity and large spot area of 1000μh. Note that NOAA 14276 (S17W22, beta-gamma/C-type) was also the source of five low-C flares in the period. C-class activity is expected, with an >M5 flare possible in the coming 1-2 days.
The position of NOAA 14274 on 13-Nov-2025 at 12:30 UT is:
N24W58 (752", 369")
