Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has diminished in the past 24 hours with NOAA 13088 now beyond the western limb. The region produced five M-class flares since the last message, including an M4.7 around 17:00 UT yesterday. NOAA 13089 along the central meridian is now classified as a beta-gamma-delta region with an area of >500uh but is largely quiescent. The looptops of NOAA 13088 on the southwest limb shall remain the target region but we will be ending the Major Flare watch campaign at this time. Only intermediate level activity expected.
The position of NOAA 13088 on 30-Aug-2022 at 11:30 UT is:
S27W91, ( 845", -425" )
