Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. The target region has now been separately numbered as NOAA 12976 and is confirmed as a beta/ D-type sunspot group. This region has continued to produce B-class flares and a C2.6 on 25-Mar-2022 at 02:27 UT. The largest flare of the period instead came from NOAA 12974 - a M1.4 on 25-Mar-2022 at 05:02 UT, with a corresponding CME. However, the target will stay with NOAA 12976 due to 12975 being in an advanced stage of decay. Additional C-class flares are expected over the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 12976 on 25-Mar-2022 at 22:00 UT is:
N15E52 , ( -733", 316" )
