MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2268 was the source of C-class events and an M2.0 event at 01/30/00:44 UT and an M1.7 event at 01/30/05:36 UT. 2268 has slightly decayed but remains a large F-type/beta-gamma region. 2268 will continue to be the target region again today. C-class events expected with the chance of an M-class event in the next 24 hours. NOAA 2277, N07E53, has a large F-type/beta-gamma sunspot group but has also decayed somewhat. 2277 produced an M2.4 event at 01/30/12:16 UT. Another M-class event is possible.
The position of NOAA 2268 on January 30 at 15:45 UT is: S12W23 (Solar X = 374", Solar Y -112")
