Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at a low level over the past 24 hours. The largest event was a C1.9 flare at 02:49 UT today, produced by NOAA 14122. This region also produced three ~C1 flares and was the most productive region. It has been classified as a beta/D-type magnetic configuration, with its spot area growing. Yesterday’s target, NOAA 14117, has been flare-quiet in the period. Today, the target region shall switch to NOAA 14122 from NOAA 14117. Additional low-C flares are expected in the coming 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14122 on 27-June-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N13E34 (-515", 179")
