Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12797 has maintained both number of sunspots and spot area coverage since the last message, remaining classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. NOAA 12797 was again the source of B-class activity over the past 24 hours, as well as a C1.4 flare on 20-Jan-2021 at 12:35 UT. Additional C-class activity is probable in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12797 on 20-Jan-2021 at 22:00 UT is:
S17E43 , ( -638", -224" )
