Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a high level. The target region NOAA 14274 produced the largest event, an X1.8 flare at 17:15 UT on November 4. It also produced about nine C-class flares during the period. Please note that a south- east limb region produced an occulted X1.2 flare at 21:45 UT. 14274 has been designated as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration. Today we will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14274. Additional major (>M5.0) flares are expected in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14274 on November 4 at 20:30 UT is:
N24E51 (-688", 354")
