Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be low since the last message. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C2.8 flare at 23:55 UT yesterday (9/17) from NOAA 14223 in the Southeast quadrant. NOAA 14216 located near the disk center had a new flux emergence and developed to a beta-gamma type, but kept flare-quiet in the past 24 hours.
The target region, NOAA 14220 continued to grow in both size and number of sunspots and produced 6 low-C class flares since the last message. There appeared EUV loops connecting this region to NOAA 14216 over the equator. Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14220 as the default target. Additional low-C class events or larger are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14220 on 18-September-2025 at 16:30 UT is: S17W08 (136", -400").
