Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased. Multiple flares were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being an M2.9 from NOAA 14168 at 13:50 UT yesterday. Both NOAA 14167 and NOAA 14168 have developed into beta-gamma-delta regions, with NOAA 14167 increasing in size to 430 μh. Both regions have demonstrated an increase in sunspot dynamism. While NOAA 14167 will remain the target region, additional attention should be paid to NOAA 14168, with potential for a Major Flare Watch to be initiated in the next 24-48 hours. Chances of further isolated M-class flares in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14167 on 04-August-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N10W59, (799", 113") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
