Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The target region NOAA 12770 has been confirmed as having decayed to an alpha/H-type sunspot group. Although lower than the previous day, NOAA 12770 was the source of the largest flare event since the last message (a B1.2 on 9-Aug-2020 at 15:58 UT). More low B-class flaring is possible in the following 24 hours as this region decays further.
The position of NOAA 12770 on 9-Aug-2020 at 13:00 UT is:
N22E01 , ( -15", 256" )
