Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13376 has continued to emerge new magnetic flux since the last message, but remains classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group because its proximity to the North West limb prevents accurate classification. NOAA 13380 (beta/C-type) produced an M-class flare in the period (an M1.6 on on 25-Jul-2023 at 21:08 UT), while target region NOAA 13376 produced two M-class events including the largest magnitude flare (an M1.2 and M4.6 on 26-Jul-2023 at 04:21 UT and 10:17 UT, respectively). Additional C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period, with a good chance for further M-class activity as NOAA 13376 rotates up to the limb.
The position of NOAA 13376 on 26-Jul-2023 at 14:30 UT is:
N23W76 , ( 844", 348" )
