Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message, but still at a low level. The largest event in the last 24 hours was an M1.2 flare at 00:01 UT today (5/21) from NOAA 14087. This flare occurred from the area of trailing sunspots that had a delta configuration, but these sunspots are rapidly disappearing after the flare.
Yesterday's target from the Southeast limb was designated as NOAA 14093. It produced at least nine high-B to low-C class flares from its trailing area in the last 24 hours. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14093, expecting additional C class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 14093 on 21-May-2025 at 15:30 UT is: S06E57 (-798", -92").
