Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. Yesterday's target NOAA 12625 has decayed somewhat to an alpha/H-type sunspot group. The new target will be NOAA 12626 that is also designated as an alpha/A-type sunspot group, but with larger spot area. Both regions have produced a single low B-class flare since the last message. Further low B-class flares may be possible in the next 24-hour period.
The position of this NOAA 12626 on 16-Jan-2017 at 23:00 UT is:
N09E29, ( -473", 222" )
