Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message with several C-class flares - including a C5.6 flare at 05:40 UT today - emanating from the target region NOAA 12595. The target region is now beyond the western limb but its looptops remain visible in EUV images. NOAA 12595 shall remain the target region for an additional 24 hours with chance for another C-level event.
The position of NOAA 12595 on 22-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is:
N08W91, ( 946", 134" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
