MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target filament located in the northern polar zone has entered a mostly stable quiescent phase. The target will switch to a recently emerged tiny C24 region. The region has moderately bright H-alpha plage and has added a couple of new pores since the last message. Solar flare activity is expected to continue at an extremely low level for the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on May 25 at 06:45 UT is: N13E55 (Solar X = -758", Solar Y = 228")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
