MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at an extremely low level. The visible solar disk is spotless. The decaying plage target is stable. The region has a large filament located along the main magnetic inversion line and extending north of the region. The northern portion of the filament appears to be less stable and could become active and erupt or slowly disappear in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on August 13 at 07:00 UT is: N04W40 (Solar X = 610", Solar Y = -017")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
