Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level. Yesterday's newly emerged flux in the remnants of NOAA 11628 has been designated as NOAA region 11629. A new magnetic flux region has emerged to the immediate North West of NOAA 11629. This region rapidly developed spots over the past 24 hours and appears to have a beta magnetic classification with some polarity mixing possible between the main polarities. B-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a C-class flare.
The approximate position of this region on 9-Dec-2012 at 17:30 UT is:
N18E06, ( -97", 307" )
