Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to C-level since the last message due to a resurgence from NOAA 12936 currently behind the northwest limb. The target region in the northeast quadrant, NOAA 12941, has remained quiescent and unchanged, and retains its beta/E-type configuration. It shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours, although only isolated low-level events are likely at this time.
The position of NOAA 12941 on 7-Feb-2022 at 12:30 UT is:
N24E28, ( -418", 482" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
