Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at an intermediate level. A number of flares were produced, the largest being an M6.8 from NOAA 13978 at 13:40 UT yesterday. NOAA 13976 has continued to show signs of emerging flux and sunspot dynamism over the last 24 hours. The Major Flare Watch will continue with NOAA 13976 and the surrounding regions (13977 and 13978) as the target. Further C- and M-class activity is expected, with a chance for an additional isolated >M5.0 event in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 13976 on 01-February-2025 at 08:30 UT is:
N13E23, (-372", 310")
