Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at a low level since the last message. There were six low-C and high-B flares produced by the target region NOAA 14191, including the largest magnitude being a C2.3 flare at 15:46 UT yesterday. 14191 was still classified as an alpha/H-type sunspot group. However, following 14191, an unnumbered region, composed of several pores, has also rotated into view. This region may be the trailing portion of 14191. Additional low-C flares are expected in the coming 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14191 on 22-Aug-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N10E59 (-802", 105")
