Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at an extremely low level. The target region has been designated as NOAA 12766, with a beta/B-type sunspot group classification at the beginning of the UT day. However, it has decayed to only have a single spot (without penumbra) in its leading polarity (i.e. an alpha/H-type classification). No change in flaring activity is expected over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12766 on 5-Jul-2020 at 14:30 UT is:
N06E11 , ( -179", 44" )
