MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a low level. The largest x-ray event since the last message was a C2.7 event at 02/03/09:47 UT produced by recently emerged NOAA 2280 (S09E45). Target region NOAA 2277 was the source of a C2.6 event at 02/02/23:11 UT. 2277 has new flux emergence today within its leading portion and is maintaining an F-type sunspot group with a weak beta-gamma magnetic configuration. C-class events probable with the chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2277 on February 03 at 16:35 UT is: N08W04 (Solar X = 067", Solar Y = 239")
