MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The current solar disk is spotless. No noteworthy solar flare events expected anytime soon. The target filament continues in an activated phase. This activation may continue and result in an eruption and disappearance of the filament in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on Sept. 07 at 18:30 UT is: N53W51 (Solar X = 446", Solar Y = 711")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
