Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message with the largest event being an M2.5 flare at 07/08/20:07 UT produced by the target region NOAA 13053. Numerous low C-class flares were also emergent from various active regions (13053/13052, 13055, 13051). 13053 remains its beta/E-type configuration and continues to emerge positive fluxes in its leading and also trailing portions. More C-class activities are expected with a chance of another low M-class flare in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 13053 on July 9 at 07:30 UT is:
N15E31 (-471", 193")
