Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message. The largest event in the period was a C8.1 flare at 19:47 UT yesterday from NOAA 14409 (N02E17, beta/D-type). This region also produced seven additional C-class flares during the period, including two ~C5 flares. Yesterday’s target, NOAA 14405 (beta-gamma, E-type), produced only a few high B-class flares during the period. Today, the target should be switched to NOAA 14409. Additional C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14409 on 2-Apr-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
N02E17 (-281",137")
