Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. The target region NOAA 12841 decayed somewhat since yesterday's message. NOAA 12842 has been stable in terms of area and number of spots, remaining designated as an alpha/H-type sunspot group. This region produced a single flare (a B1.2 event on 12-Jul-2021 at 15:29 UT) that was also the largest in the period. More B-class activity is probable from NOAA 12842 over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12842 on 12-Jul-2021 at 20:30 UT is:
N24E53 , ( -690", -346" )
