Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last message. The target region, NOAA 14087 is showing flare activities of high-B to low-M class in the past 24 hours, with the largest being an M2.1 flare at 17:08 UT yesterday (5/15). Another source of recent flares is the unnumbered region from the Northeast limb located at the latitude of ~16 degree, repeating several high-B to low-C class events.
NOAA 14087 maintains its beta-gamma-delta configuration and has increased both in size and number of sunspots. We will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14087 for another 24 hours. We will continue to observe the delta configuration at the trailing sunspots expecting another isolated M class flare with a slight chance of an event larger than M5.
The position of the target in NOAA 14087 on 15-May-2025 at 15:30 UT is: N17E33 (-505, 313").
