Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is extremely low. The solar disk continues to be devoid of spots, while no significant X-ray flares have occurred since the last message. The target small coronal loop system has rotated onto the disk and appears to be rooted in an enhanced network region. This will remain the target for another 24 hours, with no change in flare activity expected.
The approximate position of this region on 5-Feb-2020 at 23:00 UT is:
N12E70, ( -895", 237" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
