Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to a high level. The largest event in the past 24 hours was an X1.2 flare at 21:38 UT yesterday produced by the target region NOAA 14114. This region has remained stable in sunspot area and classification as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type, showing signs of separation of its main spots. Today, the Major Flare Watch shall continue as NOAA 14114. More low-M activity is probable, with another
M5 flare likely in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14114 on 18-June-2025 at 11:30 UT is
N18W19 (293", 271")
