Dear Collaborators,
The leading polarity sunspots of the southeastern limb target are visible and the region is now numbered NOAA 3272. The region is too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but it appears that there is a slight possibility that there might be two separate "stacked" regions. There is an area of bright plage with leading and trailing polarity sunspots located just southeast of the H-type spot (S21E78). The target was the source of several C-class events and an isolated M3.0 event at 04/06/05:53 UT. C-class events expected with a chance of a somewhat larger M-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 3272 on April 06 at 14:00 UT is:
S23E80 (-870", -356")
