MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 1893 was the source of a major X1.0 event at 11/19/10:26 UT. 1893 is maintaining a complex E-type/beta-gamma-delta sunspot group. At this time we are implementing Max Millennium coordinated observing plan #003 (Region Likely To Produce A Major Flare). 1893 has the potential to produce another event =/>M5 before west limb passage.
The position of NOAA 1893 on November 19 at 14:00 UT is: S14W71 (Solar X = 892", Solar Y = -247")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
