Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. The target region beyond the North East limb has begun rotating onto the visible disk with signs of some leading polarity spots that are extremely foreshortened, so the region is not capable of being classified yet. This region continued producing several C-class flares over the past 24 hours as well as a footpoint-occulted M1.8 flare on 14-Jan-2022 at 01:47 UT. This limb region will remain as the target, with C-class activity expected in the following 24-hour period and a chance for a low-to-mid M-class flare.
The approximate position of this region on 14-Jan-2022 at 20:00 UT is:
N31E90 , ( -836", 500" )
