Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at low levels, with small eruptive events from NOAA 12185 and the unnumbered, spotless plage region in the northeast quadrant. There is also a new sunspot group rotating on to the southeast limb but appears to be quiescent so far. The NE plage region is also associated with bright H-alpha emission and shall be the new target region. Further low-level activity possible.
The approximate position of the target region on 7-Oct-2014 at 15:35 UT is:
N13E40, ( -597", 135" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
