Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been low since the last message. The largest event in the last 24 hours was a C2.6 flare at 18:04 UT yesterday (5/21) from NOAA 14095. approaching the Southwest limb. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14093 did not produce flares since the last message, with the small sunspots located at the trailing area disappeared.
NOAA 14095 is a region that emerged on 5/20 in the Southwest quadrant. This region started to show high-B to low-C class flare activity since yesterday and is adding new sunspots in its Southwest vicinity. In the next 24 hours we will observe NOAA 14095 as the default target, expecting additional C class activities.
The position of the target in NOAA 14095 on 22-May-2025 at 16:00 UT is: S06W67 (867", -88").
