Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has risen to a moderate-to-high level since the last message. Target region NOAA 14246 (N22W50, beta-gamma-delta /E-type) remains the most flare-productive area on the visible disk, producing a dozen C-class and three low-to-mid M-class flares in the period, including the largest event, an M4.8 at 03:49 UT today. At this time we are implementing the Major Flare Watch on NOAA 14246. Note that NOAA 14248 (N07W20, beta-gamma-delta/E-type) also produced an M2.0 flare during the period. Additional low M-class activity is expected, with a chance of a major flare above M5 in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14246 on 15-October-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N22W50, (685",300")
