Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA 12882 has now fully rotated over the North West limb. A new spotted region rotated over the South East limb, but it has not yet been given a NOAA number. This region appears to be an alpha/H-type sunspot group and has produced low B-class activity since the last message - the largest being a B1.2 flare on 18-Oct-2021 at 03:23 UT. This new spot region becomes the target. B-class activity is likely in the following 24-hour period.
The approximate position of this region on 18-Oct-2021 at 20:30 UT is:
S19E66 , ( -833", -348" )
