Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased since the last message. The largest event in the period was a C8.3 flare at 10:50 UT today produced by the target region NOAA 13917 (S07W77, beta-gamma/D-type), which also produced another several C-class flares. Today, NOAA 13917 shall remain the target region. Additionally, NOAA 13916 (S15W89) and 13924 (S19W23) produced several C-class flares in the period, including a C7.3 and a C6.0, respectively. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of low M-class flares in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 13917 on December 15 at 12:30 UT is:
S07W77 (943",-115")
