Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 12894 has remained quiescent since the last message, although solar activity has increased recently due to the emergence of a new bipolar region in the northeast quadrant. The region is currently unnumbered but has produced several B-class flares as well as two C1 flares over the last 24 hours. This shall be the new target region with further low-to-intermediate level activity possible.
The approximate position of the target region on 8-Nov-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
N25E57, ( -740", 379" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
