Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased slightly since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C8.6 flare at 19:29 UT yesterday from NOAA 14341 (S11W30, beta-delta/D-type). This region also produced a C8.3 flare. NOAA 14349 (S15E40, beta/D-type) and the target region NOAA 14345 (S17W23, beta- gamma/E-type) also produced several mid-to-high C-class flares during the period. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14345, with particular attention to its leading sunspot, which appears magnetically connected to NOAA 14341. Additional C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance of isolated low- level M-class events.
