Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low-intermediate level. A number of flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being an M7.6 at 10:47 UT today from NOAA 13981. This region has been persistently productive and has grown to 430 μh, while retaining its beta-gamma-delta configuration. The Major Flare Watch will continue with NOAA 13981 as the target region. Further C- and M-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for an additional isolated >M5.0 event.
The position of NOAA 13981 on 06-February-2025 at 12:30 UT is:
N07W25, (409", 216") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
