Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last message. NOAA 14246 (N24W88) remains the most flare-productive region during the period, producing several C-class flares and 10 ~M1 flares, including the largest event, an M1.5 at 10:37 UT today. NOAA 14246 will remain the target region until it fully rotates beyond the west limb. Note that NOAA 14256 (S15E45, beta/C-type) also produced two ~M1 flares in the period. C-class activity is expected, with a chance of additional low M-class events in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14246 on 18-October-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N24W88, (879",386")
