MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was at an extremely low level during the past 24 hours and is expected to continue at an extremely low level for the next 24 hour period. The tiny filament that was located along the magnetic inversion line of spotless target region NOAA 2749 became active and disappeared in the early UT hours today.
The position of NOAA 2749 on October 10 at 16:00 UT is: S09W53 (Solar X = 760", Solar Y = -212")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
