MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region 2699 (E-type/beta-gamma) continues in growth phase. 2699 was the source of numerous B-class events since the last message. The largest was a B7.2 at 02/09/15:47 UT. An opposite polarity sunspot has emerged close to the southwestern edge of the largest trailing sunspot. If flux emergence continues there is the potential that it will become a magnetic delta configuration. B-class events expected, C-class possible with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2699 on February 09 at 15:30 UT is: S07E17 (Solar X = -283", Solar Y = -012")
