Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at moderate levels. An M2.7 flare at 08:05 UT today was produced by the target region NOAA 14392. This region also produced three ~B6 and three low-C flares since the last message. It continues to exhibit a beta-gamma/C-type sunspot group, accompanied by increases in both sunspot area and number. Close to the northeast of 14392, NOAA 14394 (S12E03) produced an M1.3 flare at 08:55 UT yesterday. More C-class flares are expected, with a chance for an additional low-M flare in the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 14392 on 18-Mar-2026 12:30 UT is:
S16W06 (97", -150")
