Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 12882 has been stable since the last message and has been confirmed as a beta/D-type sunspot group classification, while also continuing to produce B-class activity. Two new spot regions were numbered at the turn of the UT day (NOAA 12883 and 12884) but both are small in spot area. Of these, NOAA 12883 was the more active with producing B-class flares, while a C2.3 flare occurred at the North West limb on 10-Oct-2021 at 22:28 UT. That source region has now rotated over the North West limb so NOAA 12882 continues as the target region. Further B-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period, with a small chance for a C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12882 on 11-Oct-2021 at 20:00 UT is:
N18W25 , ( 387", 208" )
