MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The tiny target EFR (N06E13) has decayed since the last message and is currently spotless. The target will switch to a filament located within an old plage remnant (old NOAA 2740). This filament has, at times, displayed an activated phase in the past 24 hours. The activation may accelerate resulting in an eruption in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on June 29 at 06:30 UT is: N04E54 (Solar X = -764, Solar Y = 041")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
