Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continued to be at a low level, but slightly increased since the last message. The largest event was an M1.0 flare at 15:07 UT today from NOAA 13992 approaching the West limb. This region is experiencing new flux emergence at the Northwest of the main positive sunspot and having produced 5 low-to-mid C class flares in the past 24 hours.
We will observe the Northwest region of NOAA 13992 as the default target for the next 24 hours. Additional C class flares are expected with the chance of another M class event.
The position of the target in NOAA 13992 on 17-February-2025 at 16:30 UT is: S05W76 (936", -72").
