Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been very low in the last 24 hours. The largest event was a C4.4 flare at 16:49 UT yesterday (3/20) from NOAA 14025 approaching the West limb.
The target region, NOAA 14031 was flare-quiet only produced a C1.5 flare at 00:52 UT today. This region lost most of the trailing (negative) sunspots, but new sunspots appeared in the Northeast of the leading sunspot in the recent 12 hours. We will continue to observe NOAA 14031 for another 24 hours, at the area of the leading sunspot with new flux emergence. C class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14031 on 21-March-2025 at 15:30 UT is: N16W61 (808", 326").
