Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped to a low level. The target region NOAA 13835 only produced a C2.4 flare at 14:01 UT yesterday. However, 13835 has again experienced the emergence of new magnetic fluxes in its intermediate portion since the last message, remaining a beta/D-type sunspot group. 13835 shall continue as the target. In addition, NOAA 13833 (N22W60, beta/C-type), NOAA 13828 (S11W41, alpha/H-type) and NOAA 13836 (S10E52, beta-gamma/D-type) also produced a few low-C flares, with the largest two being a C4.0 at 07:27 UT and a C3.7 at 10:07 UT today from 13836. Additional C-class activities are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13835 on 25-Sep-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
S22E31 (-458", -449")
