Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to a low level. The largest event over the past 24 hours was a C4.8 flare at 01:08 UT on November 8 produced by NOAA 14277 (S07E34) that had a beta/D-type configuration. 14277 also produced three ~C2 flares. The target region NOAA 14274 was the source of ten low C-class flares (the largest one being a C3.8). It remains a beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration but increases in the sunspot area. The Major Flare Watch campaign will continue for a final 24 hours on this region. C-class activity is expected with some chance of a flare above M5.0 in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14274 on November 9 at 00:30 UT is:
N24E01 (-15", 339")
